After a stroke I have some paralysis and my husband looks after me. He takes some time out by visiting relatives in France, and when he is gone I am looked after by carers. The night before my husband left for his latest trip away, I said my usual prayers and asked my guardian angel to protect me and give me a sign to let me know they were there.

The next morning I heard my name called out by a voice I did not recognize. I thought it was one of my carers so I called that I was in the kitchen, but no one came. No one was there, but I had heard my name called so clearly. I knew that was the sign to confirm my protection. How wonderful!
